Jaguar F-Pace: Pushed to the Extreme

From the searing heat and dust of Dubai to the ice and snow of Northern Sweden, the new Jaguar F-PACE has been thoroughly tested to the limit in some of the most inhospitable environments on earth.
As the first performance crossover from Jaguar, the F-PACE offers an unrivalled blend of performance, design and practicality. To ensure that every system functions perfectly under the most extreme conditions, the new F-PACE has been subjected to one of the most demanding test programs the company has ever devised.

“We developed the F-PACE to offer the ride, handling and refinement demanded from a Jaguar car, together with new levels of ability and composure on a variety of surfaces and weather conditions. Just as we paid obsessive attention to detail over the engineering of every single component, we’ve exhaustively tested the F-PACE in the most challenging conditions to ensure that it will exceed the expectations of our customers around the world,” said, Andrew Whyman, Vehicle Program Director, Jaguar F-PACE.

Jaguar-F-FPACE

At the Jaguar Land Rover test facility in Arjeplog, Northern Sweden, average winter temperatures rarely exceed 5°F (-15°C) and often plummet to -40°F (-40°C).  In Dubai, ambient temperatures can exceed 122°F (50°C) in the shade.
Incorporating hot and cold weather testing environments with a variety of new and unique surfaces, Jaguar has paid special attention to help make the F-PACE a benchmark in the performance crossover segment. For the first time in a Jaguar development program, the F-PACE has also been driven over graveled mountain passes as part of its validation tests. Following this testing and development, the F-PACE will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. Coming to Jaguar Dallas and Jaguar Plano showrooms in mid 2016.

2016 Jaguar XJ- Sports Sedan Redefined

The 2016 Jaguar XJ’s all-aluminum luxury sedan is now more desirable than ever. An updated exterior design, enhanced information and entertainment systems, new available driver assistance features and greater differentiation are in the model line-up.

Subtle changes to the exterior design, accentuated by full LED headlights, add to the XJ’s already distinctive looks. Materials such as semi-aniline leather and inlay veneers enhance an interior already considered the most luxurious in the segment.

Matching this traditional craftsmanship is state-of-the-art technology, including a new infotainment system.

InControl Touch Pro offers features such as door-to-door navigation, Wi-Fi and 1,300W Meridian Digital Reference audio.

Jag_XJ_Portfolio_Interior_Image_1590615_06_(111030)

The driving experience is better than ever, thanks to a V6 diesel engine which offers more power and torque and less fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, and an electric power-assisted steering system that enhances Jaguar’s reputation for unrivalled agility and responsiveness.

“More dynamic and distinctive than ever, we’ve engineered our flagship sedan to deliver even greater levels of luxury and performance.”

“Featuring our new world-class infotainment system, interior materials and finishes which create an even more bespoke feel, and with our higher output, lower emissions diesel engine, the XJ rewards drivers and passengers like no other luxury car.” Ian Hoban, Vehicle Line Director, Jaguar XJ.

The new XJ features a larger, more upright grille, while sculpted chrome blades in the outboard air intakes emphasize the car’s mature, prestigious character.

The full LED headlights accentuate the ‘quad lamp’ design feature that Jaguar sporting sedans have made their own. They are further enhanced with active front steer- and static bend lamp functions, and auto high beam-assist. LED headlights also provide a color temperature closer to that of daylight than Bi-Xenon lamps, improving visibility and driver comfort, and are also more energy-efficient.

Jag_XJR_Image_190615_35_(111758)

The LED rear lights feature a new J-signature tail and position light graphic, making the XJ even more distinctive. The rear bumper now features a gloss black valance and a slender chrome insert. Oval exhaust finishers complete the look.

Jag_XJR_Image_150615_03_(111026)

The XJ’s peerless interior design has been taken to the next level. So luxurious has it become that the outgoing Portfolio trim is now used for the Premium Luxury model. The new Portfolio gains quilted soft-grain leather seats with diamond stitching and embossed headrests, and figured ebony veneer.

Jag_XJ_Portfolio_Interior_Image_190615_15_(111749)

The Autobiography model, new to XJ in the 2016 model year and available only with the long-wheelbase body, can be identified on the outside by chrome front bumper air intakes and 20” Mataiva wheels. Inside, there’s a unique Autobiography Intaglio, quilted semi-aniline leather seats with contrasting stitching, a leather headliner, rich oak inlay veneer, and illuminated stainless steel tread plates, air vents and boot finisher.

The new R-Sport model features a three-piece front splitter, deep side sills, side power vents and rear spoiler. A gloss black finish enhances the grille mesh, rear valance and, as standard in select markets, the window finishers. Wheels are 20” Venom. The interior gains sports seats, R-Sport steering wheel and tread plates, Jet headliner and piano black trim.

Coming this fall.

Jaguar Ranks Highest in Customer Satisfaction

Accolades keep pouring in for Jaguar. The automaker has been recognized by J.D. Power as the highest achieving automotive luxury brand in the United States for customer satisfaction with retailer service for vehicle maintenance and repair. According to the 2015 J.D. Power CSI study, Jaguar retailers provided the highest ranked service of any luxury auto brand in the U.S. to customers during the first three years of ownership.

TrophyCSI15_Lux_Jaguar

“The Jaguar brand has undergone a tremendous transformation over the last few years with new models like the F-TYPE, increased focus on customer care and tremendous investment from our retailers in their facilities and processes,” said Joe Eberhardt, President and CEO, Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC.

“It is especially gratifying to have our customers recognize, through J.D. Power, the high quality of their Jaguar vehicle service experience. Our plan is to build on this momentum even further with new products and customer first programs on the way.”

Scores were based on service initiation, service advisor, service facility, vehicle pick-up and service quality. Jaguar ranked highest among luxury brands in the industry.

Last year, Jaguar was recognized as a J.D. Power Customer Champion, an honor received by only 50 companies in the U.S. for their ability to provide the highest level of customer service based on five key areas identified as the J.D. Power 5 Ps: People, Presentation, Price, Process and Product.

The Jaguar lineup is set to expand in the near future with the Jaguar XE sports sedan and the Jaguar F-PACE performance crossover, both coming in 2016.

Park Place BodyWerks: Restoring Vehicles and Smiles

An innocent bystander caught in a police shoot-out in Lewisville, Erica Montes was lucky to get out alive; her Honda CR-V however, sustained a lot of damage. Adding insult to injury, her claim for repairs was denied.

After several months of back-and-forth with the insurance company, Ms. Montes came to terms with her SUV being riddled with bullet holes.

         11160582_10152885125983380_8930643519370740773_n

What she didn’t know is that her story caught the attention of Park Place Motorcars Fort Worth- General Manager, George Johnson, and things were about to get a lot better.

Mr. Johnson reached out to the manager of Park Place BodyWerks Fort Worth, David Norris, who invited Erica to stop by the body shop for the necessary repairs; oh and those repairs…they’re on the house.

Having been through so much, Montes was thrilled with the offer and knowing that her car will be restored.

In 2-weeks, Park Place BodyWerks fixed the damage from the shoot-out, but that’s not all they did.

Having taken panels and bumpers off, the body shop technicians noticed several other bumps and bruises on the CR-V that needed to be fixed or tended to. They fixed and replaced a laundry-list of small items that made a big difference. The icing on the cake- a complete detail and a full tank of gas; also compliments of Park Place BodyWerks.

When Erica came to pick-up her CR-V, it was unrecognizable.

It was no longer the dull silver SUV with rusty bullet holes she dropped off just 2-weeks ago, it was whole again and shiny.

There was more than a car restored that day. Montes’ smile was back on her face and that put a smile on ours!

2016 Jaguar XF Climbing To New Heights

2016 Jaguar XF High Wire

Suspended 60 feet above the Thames River in London, the new generation of the XF made its world debut in true Jaguar fashion. The high-wire high-stakes unveiling event was the first of its kind in the world.

The newly redesigned luxury sedan made its way across two wires- about the width of your thumb. The dramatic high-wire drive was to showcase the XF’s new light-weight design.

Jaguar completely redesigned the XF for 2016, making the entire shell out of aluminum. Despite its new lighter-weight, Jaguar did not skimp on the muscle power of the Jag. The mid-size luxury sedan is expected to have four engine options including a supercharged V-8 and high performance XF-SVR.

“I believe the all-new XF will be the best looking car in its class” said Jaguar’s Director of Design, Ian Callum.
