Park Place Reveals Mobile Pop Up for all New Automotive Experiences

Park Place Dealerships revealed its new mobile pop up at the 2019 DFW Auto Show this past March. The Mobile Experience Unit will be used across DFW at events throughout North Texas to bring the Park Place brand directly to the automotive enthusiast.

“The mobile pop up gives us the opportunity to expand the presence of our brand beyond the parameters of the dealership,” said Dave Evans, Chief Marketing Officer at Park Place Dealerships. “Experiences play a huge role with customers today and are the main drivers of customer engagement. We believe the mobile pop up allows us to engage with the consumer wherever we want to take it.”

During the DFW Auto Show, the pop up will be onsite to deliver an inclusionary experience for everyone who stops to visit the Park Place area. The mobile unit has already provided innovative experiences for clients at both the 2018 Park Place Luxury & Supercar Showcase and at the COTA track.

Park Place continues to be an innovator in the automotive space by developing unique offerings to expose current and potential clients to the brands. In the past year, Park Place introduced and expanded Park Place Select, an automotive subscription service.

“As a company, we must be in tune with where our clients spend their time and how they use their vehicles,” remarked Evans. “Our client’s transportation needs are as diverse as they are, and range from attending festivals and sporting events to shuttling friends and family to racing their cars, or simply enjoying life. We expect the mobile pop up will help us deliver an unparalleled, client-focused experience.”

About Jaguar Land Rover

After Tata Motors, India’s largest automobile manufacturer, acquired Jaguar and Land Rover from Ford in 2008, it merged the two marques into a single company.

Land Rover is the world’s leading manufacturer of premium all-wheel-drive vehicles and Jaguar is one of the world’s premier luxury sports saloon and sports car marques.  In 2018, Jaguar Land Rover sold 592,708 vehicles in 128 countries.

2020 Land Rover Evoque: Learn and Reserve with Park Place

The Range Rover Evoque is priced from $42,650, and is available in five trim levels: S, SE, R-Dynamic S, R-Dynamic SE and R-Dynamic HSE, with an additional First Edition model available for the first year only.

The 2020 Range Rover Evoque compact luxury SUV made its global debut in London in November 2018, and features an all new design language, advanced driver assistance technologies, a new hybrid-electric powertrain option and groundbreaking off-road technologies. Building on the original model’s instantly-recognizable design, the New Range Rover Evoque is a sophisticated evolution of the original’s distinctive coupe-like silhouette.

The New Range Rover Evoque will be available from launch with a 48-volt MHEV powertrain that harvests energy normally lost during deceleration and stores it in the underfloor battery. The New Range Rover Evoque is also the first vehicle to feature ‘ClearSight Ground View’ technology, which is designed to allow the driver to virtually see through the hood and under the front end of the vehicle by projecting a 180-degree view of the ground onto the vehicle’s upper touchscreen.

The  Evoque’s Optional ClearSight Rear View Mirror uses a roof mounted camera to provide an obstructed view of what’s behind the vehicle at all times. While it’s not intended to replace the rear view camera showing images of cars in close proximity,  it does display a long distance view of what’s behind your vehicle.

Park Place Jaguar Wins in 2018

Still known as one of the “newer kids” on the block, Park Place Jaguar Land Rover DFW’s General Manager Matt Woolsey, and all of his team members, have worked diligently to represent the true client-first philosophy from Park Place. Earlier this month, Jaguar recognized those efforts, with the store earning “Pride of Jaguar’ for the 2018/2019 year.

What is Pride of Jaguar?

Park Place’s previous location in Plano was no stranger to such accolades, which makes this win all the more exciting for the Grapevine based dealer. The Pride of Jaguar is awarded annually to 12 retailers, out of over 300 network dealers, who have demonstrated a commitment to excellence to the Jaguar brand.  The 12 dealers are chosen based off the merits of customer advocacy, sales, and after-sales success.

The Jaguar-Land Rover Dealer network managed a national increase in sales by 7% in 2018, and a 3.6% increase of Jaguar only.

Setting The PACE

Part of the success of the Jaguar brand included the release of the two PACE family models- the E-PACE and all-electric I-PACE.

Park Place Jaguar DFW is honored to receive this award as a true testament to member dedication, grit in the midst of opening a new location, and to the people-first approach our team is continually striving to provide.

Thank you to our Grapevine Community for welcoming us, trusting us, and for choosing Jaguar Land Rover DFW as your place. Thank you to all of our team members, from Service Valets and Car Washers, to Sales Managers, and Assistant Service Directors etc., we couldn’t continue to improve our client experience without your continuous commitment to excellence.

Schedule your test drive or service appointment with our award winning team at www.ParkPlace.com.

This characterful vehicle combines refinement and fun to create that all-important emotional reaction that will turn heads and make people smile.” – Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Chief Design Officer

Pushed to its limits by the Land Rover team, the Evoque performed exceptionally well in harsh conditions, proving it’ll be hard to disturb such a expertly crafted SUV. See how the design architecture of the new Range Rover Evoque elevates the driver experience.

Jaguar Has the Perfect Gift For You and Your Pet This Christmas

Jaguar has dog owners covered this Christmas with the launch of its all-new Pet Products. Designed for comfort and convenience, the bespoke accessories are the perfect present for four-legged friends this festive season.

For non- four legged Jaguar accessories to wrap up for a loved one (or yourself) this holiday, visit Jaguar DFW.

Jaguar has dog owners covered this Christmas with the launch of its all-new Pet Products. Designed for comfort and convenience, the bespoke accessories are the perfect present for four-legged friends this festive season.

The premium accessory range puts canine comfort at the forefront with a spill-resistant water bowl, foldable carrier and convenient rear access ramp. Muddy paw prints in the car will also be a thing of the past, thanks to a quilted luggage compartment liner and handy portable shower.

Selected to meet the needs of customers and their canines, each accessory has been designed with the comfort and well-being of each animal in mind. They are available now across Jaguar’s range of SUVs – the PACE family – and the XF Sportbrake.

Jaguar Pet Products have been designed to deliver convenience and performance for owners and their animals. Furthermore, accessories such as the rear access ramp can help protect the muscles and joints of older animals, ensuring their well-being is at the forefront of every journey.

The portable rinse system is ideal for washing pets before they enter the vehicle and can be used to clean equipment such as bikes or wetsuits. An integrated hand pump allows users to create the pressure required for a minimum of two minutes continuous flow, depending on the setting selected. Available in a Jaguar branded bag, it can be secured to the ‘D’ loops in the rear luggage compartment during transit.

Suitable for animals up to 187lbs, the foldable access ramp allows access to the rear luggage compartment without the need for owners to lift their dogs. It features aluminum side panels and a plastic center section with a high-grip tread pattern. Rubber feet keep it in position when in use and retaining straps are available for stowage.

The foldable carrier provides a comfortable environment for the transportation of pets thanks to its lightweight metal frame and quilted fabric cushion. It is available alongside the spill-resistant water bowl, which has a capacity of about 11.8oz. and a rubber base to prevent it from moving when driving.

Manufactured from a soft, quilted fabric, the tailored luggage compartment liner protects all carpeted areas of the rear load space, including the floor, second row seat backs and side walls. It has an integral rubber mat and detachable bumper protector, making it easy to wipe clean. The new Jaguar Pet Products are available now, click here to find out more.

When Fancy Cars and Fall Football Collide: Park Place’s Focus on Education On and Off the Field

Park Place has four, core pillars of community giving, with education and a passion for children’s advocacy, at the forefront of our involvement this past fall.  It’s no secret that Fall in Texas equals football season, and we are so excited to not only support one of Texas’ favorite past times but to also show our support for the local teams, like the Boswell Pioneers or Southlake-Carroll Dragons, as a part of our community giving efforts.

Boswell Football

This past season, we had the privilege of supporting the Boswell High School Football Team (see the 2019 team photo below) with not only cheers and encouragement as our Park Place Mercedes-Benz Fort Worth members attended the games, but through a donation to the Boswell Football Scholarship Fund.

This fund supports their local athletes with scholarship opportunities at the close of the school year for their future pursuits, and we are eager to hear what these kids accomplish thanks to their hard work, determination, and little extra help from their community.

Boswell Pioneer Varsity Football

Southlake-Carroll Dragons

Similarly, Park Place is very involved in the Southlake-Carroll Community, with each of our four Grapevine dealerships showing up at home games at Dragons Stadium with plenty of team spirit and vehicles to enhance the game-day experience.

Southlake-Carroll Dragons Football Team, 2019

One well-known opportunity each year is our “Kick One of These [a field goal]” to “Win One Of These [a new car]”, donated by Matt Woolsey, General Manager of Park Place Jaguar Land Rover.

The rules are simple (no practicing!) and the experience an absolute blast, as Park Place Members pack the stands alongside Dragon fans, eagerly watching the one lucky winner kick for a new luxury auto!

We haven’t had someone successfully make a field goal yet, but who’s to say we won’t bring back that community opportunity next year?

On the Radio with Colleyville Heritage High School

Radio is an integral part of our fall sponsorships and one that helps add an element of excitement to local fall football games for Colleyville Heritage High School.  Live commentary on the radio enhances the fans experience, when they may not be able to make it to the field for a live viewing. It’s all about experience at Park Place, so this radio sponsorship was a natural extension of our fall community involvement for area schools and athletes.

Participating in school athletics has the ability to impact students far past just an athletic acknowledgment, and Park Place strives to support these programs in an effort to support their academic successes and futures far past just a singular football season. We encourage you to join us next season in cheering on your local high school football teams in person or by tuning into local radio to catch the play by play of our young student-athletes in action.

Park Place Celebrates 21 Years at the Cattle Baron’s Ball with New Vehicle Donated to Raffle

Park Place Dealerships and the Cattle Baron’s Ball have a now 21-year relationship that has resulted in yet another successful event at Gilley’s Dallas, all for the pursuit of a cure for cancer.  The Cattle Baron’s Ball is one of the largest one night fundraisers, and Park Place is proud to provide support through what we know best- and that is luxury cars.

For our 21st year, Park Place donated the choice of a brand new 2018 Volvo XC40, Mercedes-Benz GLC 300, Porsche Macan, or Range Rover Velar, to the winner of the raffle.

As a core tenant of Park Place’s mission, giving back and community involvement is never overlooked but rather, constantly adapting and changing so that we can make a greater impact year after year.  As leaders in the automotive industry, Park Place has been honored with the opportunity to give to the Cattle Baron’s Ball to benefit the American Cancer society, leaders in cancer research, for 21 years now.

Since 1974, Cattle Baron’s Ball has raised over $77 million for cancer research- which they cite happens mostly here in DFW. True to “Everything’s Bigger in Texas” mantra, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has proven year after year, that they in partnership with the community, are the world’s largest sing-night fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Cattle Baron’s has provided more than 30,000 services to cancer patients in North Texas, rides to and from treatments, and wigs free of charge. The American Cancer Society is the beneficiary of the event whose mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

The 2nd Annual Park Place Luxury & Supercar Showcase Shone Brightly Even in the Rain

Park Place Dealerships donates $55k Sprinter
to Salesmanship Club’s Momentous Institute

Rain or shine. Many outdoor events casually use the term, but few shine in the midst of challenges like the 2nd annual Park Place Luxury & Supercar Showcase did on October 13th at the Four Seasons Resort & Club Dallas at Las Colinas.

“It was an exciting day in a lot of ways,” said Ken Schnitzer, Park Place Dealerships founder and chairman. “The rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of guests and we were able to execute the Park Place Luxury & Supercar Showcase for the nearly 3,000 people who attended. Many of the private collectors brought their rare and pristine cars out to display them in the Collector’s Concours. The Porsche Club – Maverick Region came together to create an amazing Heritage Display to celebrate Porsche’s 70th anniversary. And we were able to support a wonderful charitable partner in a big way.”

The event benefitted the Momentous Institute, owned and operated by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas since 1920. Each year, the organization serves more than 6,000 children and family members through its nationally acclaimed Momentous School and innovative Therapeutic Services. Schnitzer presented Patton Chapman, Salesmanship Club president, with the keys to a $55,000 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van to help the organization with its transportation needs for the kids.

Throughout the day, guests saw more than $100 million worth of rare and unique vehicles from manufacturers, collectors and car clubs, including the first public display of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the iconic marque’s first ever SUV. Guests also enjoyed live entertainment, incredible food and beverages, as well as a Highland Park Village fashion show produced by Jan Strimple.

Parents even watched their kids play in the rain, driving miniature electric versions of Porsche, McLaren, Volvo, Bentley, Mercedes-Benz and Lexus vehicles on the pavestone path. Guests also had the opportunity to meet 16-year-old racecar driver Kinzie “Kiki” Wilson. Featured in her red, racing shirt on the right of her Corvette, the Mansfield Legacy High School Junior is also the Varsity Cheer Captain while maintaining a 3.95 GPA.

Dallas’ Mad Hatter Shane Walker helped judge the Haute Hat Contest. The Lady’s Haute Hat winner was Anna Neiman (below) with a stylish Rolls-Royce-inspired hat that included working lights.

As the day drew to a close, the top three award winners from the Collector’s Concours were presented with the “Spirit of Park Place,” a hand-crafted sculpture by Dallas artist Brad Oldham.
