A routine stop for gas turned into an unforgettable rescue when a driver heard an unexpected sound coming from beneath the hood of his Toyota Tacoma.
The gentleman was on his way to work and had stopped at a nearby gas station. Before pulling away, he heard a faint meow coming from the truck’s engine bay. Unsure how to safely reach the animal, he brought the Tacoma to the nearest dealership, Park Place Motorcars Arlington, and asked the service team for help.
The team took the truck into the shop, where they quickly located a tiny kitten hiding beneath the engine. Within minutes, the kitten was safely removed and welcomed by a group of relieved Park Place Members.
The little passenger had apparently traveled approximately 40 miles tucked inside the Tacoma before making his presence known. Despite the long and dangerous journey, he appeared to be unharmed.
The story became even more special when a Park Place Member offered to adopt the kitten and give him a safe, loving home.
Tacoma proved to be a fitting name for the adventurous kitten.
