As of July 1, 2017, Park Place Jaguar will have officially made the leap to Grapevine with an expanded inventory selection to now include Land Rover. Set right off 114, Park Place Jaguar-Land Rover DFW will continue to deliver excellent sales, service, and ownership experiences for Jaguar and now Land Rover enthusiasts alike.

It’s Electric (Literally) the Jaguar I-Pace Concept

Come late 2018, Jaguar is gearing up to release to their dealer network a revolutionary new concept to the world of electric vehicles (EVs), providing 516lb-ft of instant torque, 400 HP and 0‑60 mph in around 4 seconds. The Jaguar I-PACE is the ultimate electric performance SUV, designed to expertly combine the thrilling and distinctive Jaguar performance with electric vehicles. The I-PACE is a battery powered electric vehicle with two electric motors supplied by on-board rechargeable batteries- that means zero carbon emissions without sacrificing the unmistakable Jaguar driving experience. In early fall, Park Place Jaguar Land Rover DFW had an exclusive test drive opportunity, but come the next couple of months, more clients will have the ability to test drive the first all-electric Jaguar.

The I-PACE’s aerodynamic hood scoop, flush door handles, and bold air ducts help the car ride efficiently through the air, maximizing the EV’s range so you can ride in class the duration of your journey. Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) traditionally have a small battery charged by the engine and regenerative braking resulting in a small electric range. Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) can be charged from an external source of electricity and typically have a larger battery with a longer range than an HEV. Both offer smaller electric-only ranges and are heavier than conventional cars, but can continue running without access to electricity because of their dual power sources. Most of all, these hybrids reduce a driver’s “range anxiety.” The I-PACE Concept is a 100% battery electric vehicle, which means it does not have a secondary power source like the Hybrid, making it lighter, faster, and more efficient- making one’s journey that much more thrilling.

Brad’s exceptional service stems from his long journey to Park Place. Deeming himself an Army Brat, Brad moved around quite a lot when he was young, specifically every 10 months until he was 11 years old. His client first mentality began developing at a young age, thanks to his Grandpa, his role model, who was an old school county dentist. He taught Brad key things like patience, understanding, that there is more to life than material gains, and most importantly how to love his wife.

“He [My Grandfather] and my Grandmother were married in 1946 after having known each other for less than 6 months. At the time of his death at 94, they were married for 68 years…what an example”

After graduating high school, he attended Texas Tech, in Lubbock, to pursue a degree in marketing and management. Opportunity came knocking after graduation, and he moved to Dallas, and eventually made his way to Park Place after reading an AD in the Sunday paper (that’s right, the newspaper). He officially joined the Park Place team in 2002, and he has been thriving in the every-changing atmosphere that accompanies automotive sales. He emphasizes why this role at Park Place is a perfect fit for him because, “In sales, every day is different and growing up as I did I don’t really care for the same old thing over and over again. How boring is that?”

Jaguar’s First Ever SUV: The 2017 F-Pace

Park Place Jaguar Plano honored with Marque of Distinction

Jaguar Land Rover Training Academy honored three Park Place Jaguar Plano employees with their highest award: the Marque of Distinction. This honor is granted annually to one Parts Manager, Parts Professional, Sales Manager, Sales Consultant, Sales Guide, Service Manager, Service Advisor and Technician from each Jaguar and Land Rover brand. Park Place Jaguar members Daniel Syvrud won Sales Manager of the Year 2015; Drew Wilson won Parts Member of the year; and Bob Lynn was the Service Guild winner.

“It is an amazing honor to have Daniel, Drew and Bob on our team,” said Mike Cuzzo, Park Place Jaguar Plano General Manager. “We can proudly say that we have the best of the best to provide our clients the highest level of service. 2016 Jaguar XF Review

The stunning new Jaguar XF sedan has been redesigned and is a prime example of Jaguar’s mission to create vehicles which combine superlative road manners with confident handling and eye-catching design. The XF is a motorcar that blends sportiness with premium sedan comfort, all built-in to an elegant and vibrant design. A suite of innovative technology shares a host of information letting the driver know what’s going on inside and around the XF for a heightened and safer driving experience. Let’s take a closer look at the rest of this beautiful new entry from a manufacturer renowned for its elegant and sensual designs. The redesign begins in the front of the XF with a more upright grill that supports the same mesh pattern as the F-type, Jaguar’s superlative sports car. The sculpted hood contains deeper lines creating a V-shape look that’s capped by a very amplified center. The headlights are flushed to the bumper for greater aerodynamics and visual aesthetics.

The 2016 model year offers two supercharged V6 engines, one with 340-hp and one revved up version which boasts 380-hp. Both are also available for either RWD or AWD. Everything from the front suspension to the front of the rear seat uses a lightweight aluminum which makes up 75% of the XF. The extensive use of aluminum improves body stiffness by 28% to take handling to even higher levels. The increased rigidity is quite noticeable on the road and creates a very confident feel. A new suite of standard and optional advanced technologies support the driver and enrich the XF’s road manners for the driver as well as everyone else inside. Another F-type inspired feature are the tail lamps of the XF, which feature dual crescent lighting and a thin LED stoplight across the top of the rear window. Every feature on the body has been engineered to limit drag at higher speeds to maximize aerodynamic and efficiency. From the inside out the XF is filled with luxuries, amenities and space.
